Unfortunately, media is nothing more than privatized corporations whose main goal is to earn an income rather than inform our communities. Beyond The Headlines is a project by One Struggle that seeks to dig deeper into the stories that affect us and analyze how our struggles are connected and rooted in capitalism and imperialism.

We want to reveal the class warfare we face in Florida every day. We want to dig into local stories, inform about the laws affecting us, gather real intel from our communities and share our perspective with the goal of informing and providing the tools to fight back. We will share our independent commentary with the goal to expose class struggles, build networks of resistance and inspire independent organizing. Beyond The Headlines seeks to shed light on the rapid domination and privatization of healthcare, education, housing, and the various systems we rely on, which is caused by capitalism and imperialism.

South Floridians are ready and capable to come together and build independent organizations against the systems that oppress and dominate us.
